Withdraw cash from an Australian Commonwealth Bank account using a Commonwealth Bank ATM in Ho Chi Minh City and pay a flat international ATM fee of only $2.00 per withdrawal. The standard fee for Australian Commonwealth Bank accounts is $5.00 +2% when using another bank ATM. Our location.

Free access to online and telephone banking in branch

Customers with Commonwealth Bank accounts in Australia can also access a free phone service direct to the Bank’s Australian 132221 customer service centre in a relaxed, secure and private environment inside the Ho Chi Minh City branch. There’s also a free connection to the Bank’s online banking service, NetBank.

These services are especially handy for Australian visitors who need to do some last minute personal banking, or to report lost or stolen cards.

Fee free NetBank money transfers

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is now offering fee free outbound international money transfers from Australia to Vietnam in Vietnamese currency via NetBank.

For a limited time, the Bank is also waiving the standard $22 NetBank fee for transfers of 1 million Vietnamese Dong or more.

This service offers three collection methods for the recipient of the funds in Vietnam:
1. Direct debit into the recipient’s bank account at any bank in Vietnam
2. Collect by the recipient at the Commonwealth Bank branch in Ho Chi Minh City, or any of the 140 VietinBank branches across Vietnam, or
3. For a small fee of AUD$5.00, the money can be delivered directly to the recipient’s home
