 What should I pack?
24Remember that Australia is below the equator so the seasons are opposite! Summer in Vietnam means it is winter in Australia, and vice versa. Be sure to pack comfortable clothes for all seasons; spring, summer, autumn and winter. Depending on which city you live, the temperature variation between seasons could be more or less significant. If you live in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, you will experience an average temperature of 20 degrees celesius (oC); however, it could be very cold in winter. If you live in Perth and Brisbane the climate is generally warmer year-round. However, you should always pack some clothes for the winter as temperatures can go below 18 degrees even for the wamer cities.

Also remember to pack items from home that will help you cope with homesickness. Bring a photo album of friends and family, your favourite music or items that will make you feel at home away from home.
