 How do I get a student visa?

Once you’ve been accepted into a school, the next step is to apply for a student visa. The general steps to obtain a visa are:

1. Make sure you have your electronic Confirmaton of Enrollment (eCoE) from your education program before applying for a visa.

2. Prepare the following documents for your application:

  • Visa application
  • 4 passport photos
  • Declaration form on relatives
  • CV in Vietnamese
  • Resident Book
  • Birth Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate (if any)
  • Temporary School Acceptance (Official Acceptance to be submitted upon visa endorsement)
  • Study plan
  • Certified copies of certificate, award and score table
  • Passport
  • Financial requirements
  • Visa fee
  • Guarantor’s letter
3. After you’ve submitted the required information it will take a few weeks to get your visa. During this time, spend some time to make your travel arrangements. Look for flights and accommodation, and spend time with friends and family before you go

Financial Requirements

To successfully apply for a student, you will need to declare and provide evidence that you can financially support yourself for the full study period in Australia.   • Bank statements
  • Guardian work pay slips
  • Bank loan documents
