Can I take out a Loan? |
Yes. Commonwealth Bank in Vietnam recognises the importance of education and provides education loans to help you finance both local and overseas education. If eligibile you can get a student loan for up to 60 months once you have proven your need for a loan and have qualified. Eligilbility Individuals (including shareholders, directors and commissioners) who: - Are Vietnamese residents
- Have good payment record with Commonwealth Bank and other lenders
- Have no impending lawsuits, are not bankrupt nor insolvent
- Satisfy relevant regulatory guidelines in relation to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or cash transactions
- Satisfy CBA’s internal credit eligibility criteria
Application Requirements To apply for an education loan you will need to provide documents such as: Identification documents - Photocopy of applicant's (and spouse if applicable) Identity Card / Passport & resident book
- Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Evidence of the relationship between the Borrower & the student
- Photocopy of Charter, Certificate of Business Registration/Investment (for Entrepreneurs or Professionals)
Parent or guardian guarantee information - Individuals
- Photocopy of bank statements for the previous three (3) months of one or more of applicant’s deposits and loan accounts with CBA Vietnam or any other bank
- Recent and original salary slip
- Certificate from employer or an employment reference
- Photocopy of a recent taxation return
- Guarantor information form (if applicable)
- Entrepreneurs and professionals
- Photocopy of Practicing Licence (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Financial Statements (for tax purpose) for the previous two (2) years, Tax report & receipt for the most recent year
- Guarantor information form (if applicable)
Proof of Education Plans - Acceptance letter from the school/university
- Payment schedule of tuition fees & living costs
